The main reasons for the rapid wear of punch of C-type high-speed punch are analyzed
1. The first mock exam temperature is too high, mainly due to the continuous hot stamping of the same mould for a long time.
2. Improper grinding method of die of high-speed punch leads to die annealing and aggravation of wear.
3. Poor alignment of convex and concave dies, including insufficient accuracy of die base, die guide assembly and turret insert, etc.
4. The die clearance is too small. Generally, it is recommended that the total die clearance be 20% ~ 25% of the material plate thickness.
5. During partial unilateral punching, such as step punching, angle of attack or shearing, the lateral force will make the punch deviate to one side, and the gap of this side will be reduced, resulting in serious die wear. If the installation accuracy of the die of the high-speed punch is not high, it will seriously make the punch deviate over the lower die, resulting in damage to the punch and die. |
